Curriculum Vitae

My name is Vaios Avdis and I was born in 1949 and graduated in geography and natural sciences at the university of Thessaloniki
In 1979 I graduated from Imperial College with an MSc degree in Structural Geology and rock mechanics.
I then started work at IGME [The Greek Institute of Geological and Mineral Explorationl in the mapping and tectonics department. In 2010 I retired.
